These Are for Class, But Turned Out Well

These were shots that I took yesterday to represent Circles, Stacks, and Groves as representations of design for my Interior Architecture class.

School

I'm taking a class on architecture and design. I have to keep a blog for it, which can be found at designing-history.blogspot.com. I may also incorporate this site in that blog - photographing design could turn out to be a lot of fun, and prove to be a way that I can relate to the class.

For example:

This would be kind of like the shadow that we discussed in class - if we were to be post apocalyptic archaeologists, and everything was buried, what would we think a cloverleaf was? How easy can it be to misinterpret the design? Here is an example of what the design is truly used for. And an awesome shot with a LensBaby... Enjoy!

Veteran's Day 2011

On 11/11/11 at 11:11, lots of people made wishes. If you did, I only hope that it was done so in light of the fact that today is Veteran's Day; a day to honor and thank all those who have served our country, those who are still among us, and those who are not.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the Moment of Silence and the Playing of TAPS at school today, and I was appalled at the severe lack of people from my generation there - the attendance was made up of faculty and staff primarily.

We take for granted what it is that we have here - and agree or not, please use this as your reminder to take a moment and silently thank those who have fought for our freedom.
