Veteran's Day 2011

On 11/11/11 at 11:11, lots of people made wishes. If you did, I only hope that it was done so in light of the fact that today is Veteran's Day; a day to honor and thank all those who have served our country, those who are still among us, and those who are not.

I was fortunate enough to make it to the Moment of Silence and the Playing of TAPS at school today, and I was appalled at the severe lack of people from my generation there - the attendance was made up of faculty and staff primarily.

We take for granted what it is that we have here - and agree or not, please use this as your reminder to take a moment and silently thank those who have fought for our freedom.

Thank You Veterans!

Today's photo is to show my most sincere appreciation to all of the veterans that have served this great nation. To all those who served in WWI, WWII, Vietnam, the Gulf War, and Post 9/11, my hat goes off to you. Thank you all!

Times of Day
